Information Meeting in Lower Vashlovani

Modern water supply and waste water systems will be established in all municipalities of Ajara.

In the frame of the project the working meetings were held with the population of Khulo, in particular in Lower and Upper Vashlovani and Shurmuli villages; the mentioned villages were introduced to the initiative groups created from the local dwellers.

Active cooperation with the groups will result in collecting the data on the existing water supply systems.

The initiative groups will have the possibility to inform the consulting companies on the local needs and, in future, together with the village representatives, ask questions on the related engineering and design works.

The budget of the water system development in Ajara equals to 59,5 mln euros.

The project is being implemented in the frame of the German-Georgian cooperation together with the KfW Development Bank and the EU.
